FreakCon launches Indie Zone on its tenth anniversary

FreakCon, the International Festival of Manga, Comics, TV Series, and Video Games, will celebrate its tenth edition in May at the Torremolinos Conference Center, strengthening ... on its tenth anniversary one of its spaces most linked to talent in video game development: the Indie Zone, a key meeting point for emerging developers and fans of independent video games.

This space is established as a showcase for studios and creators looking to give visibility to their projects in a professional environment open to the public. The Indie Zone will allow attendees to discover and try titles in development, meet the creators directly, and participate by providing firsthand feedback.

Additionally, the Indie Zone at FreakCon will feature a jury composed of video game industry professionals who will award a prize of 1,000 euros to the best video game of the edition, recognizing the quality, innovation, and creativity of the participating projects.

Studios, independent developers, and students who wish to be part of this edition can complete their registration on the official FreakCon website. The Indie Zone FreakCon has the collaboration of the Junta de Andalucía through the Digital Agency of Andalusia, the Provincial Council of Málaga, the City Council of Torremolinos, and DEV, the Spanish Association of Video Game and Entertainment Software Producers and Developers.
