The flagship brand of ACHM Hotels by Marriott lands on the Costa del Sol with today's reopening of the Grand Hotel Las Dunas.

The Grand Hotel Las Dunas, a five-star establishment located in Estepona, reopens its doors this Tuesday to embrace a new phase as a luxury resort. The reopening marks the debut of the flagship brand of ACHM Hotels by Marriott, Autograph Collection, on the Costa del Sol, following a comprehensive renovation that moves away from its past as a health and diet tourism facility. It is worth remembering that the hotel owner, Félix Revuelta, founder of Naturhouse, acquired it in 2013 to turn it into a benchmark in that field. After reaching a leasing agreement with ACHM Hotels by Marriott, Gran Hotel Las Dunas leaps forward to position itself on the luxury offerings map.

The new hotel houses 51 rooms, mostly suites, with private terraces facing the sea, a garden, and an outdoor pool. "The project marks the beginning of a new narrative for the hotel, where design, identity, and experience engage against the backdrop of the Mediterranean," state representatives from ACHM Hotels by Marriott.

The president of the company, Antonio Catalán, announces that the "Grand Hotel Las Dunas reopens for those who value privacy and meticulously detailed hospitality," and he points out that "our ambition is not to impress or set the pace, but to accompany the guest and adapt to them, to their lifestyle and needs. We want every visitor to feel at home. What they have experienced during their stays should be hard to describe, but very easy to recognize. Our guest is not just looking for a destination, but a way to feel." ACHM Hotels by Marriott, founded in 2011 under the leadership of Antonio Catalán, originated from a successful collaboration with Marriott International.

The hotel features a spa, which focuses on relaxation and disconnection, as well as an iconic infinity pool, a gym, and spaces designed for holding meetings and private gatherings "for those who combine rest and work in an environment of utmost discretion."

In this new luxury complex, the international chain managing it has made a commitment to gastronomy, which they describe as "an ode to simplicity and local produce. With an honest kitchen, Grand Hotel Las Dunas will offer different spaces that coexist in perfect harmony. Guests and visitors can thus enjoy a relaxed experience based on straightforward yet refined cuisine." Casa Calma is the new gastronomic space, structured into three interconnected areas: the restaurant, which is the heart; the garden, located around the pool and functioning as a natural extension of the restaurant outdoors; and the lookout, the space closest to the sea, ideal for enjoying a cocktail, a snack, or a light dinner facing the Mediterranean. At night, Casa Calma transforms and introduces Golden Glow, the cocktail offering.

From ACHM Hotels by Marriott, which manages over 75 properties, 10,000 hotel rooms, and employs more than 3,000 people, they highlight the introduction of the Autograph Collection brand on the Costa del Sol through the Grand Hotel Las Dunas and point out that "under this label, five-star luxury is reinterpreted from a contemporary and personal view, where design, wellness, and exclusivity naturally coexist.
