Top Doctors, a leading healthtech group in the digital transformation of the healthcare sector and in the development of technological systems for easy access to the best medical specialists, celebrates the 12th Edition of its renowned awards for medical excellence. Once again, the group has announced the top 50 doctors in private medicine in Spain, rated with more than 5,000 votes collected throughout the year by the medical community and specialists in each area. Of these, 10 doctors are from Andalusia.
Criteria
They do so by adhering to excellence in the development of their clinical activity, both nationally and internationally, and by evaluating clinical skills, research, outreach, and teaching efforts, as well as the professional trajectory of these experts.
Moreover, during the evaluation process, the experts must reflect on which doctor they would go to or recommend to their relatives or friends in case of need. And the 50 selected experts have the highest scores from real verified patients.
"Reaching the 12th edition of these awards is a milestone that reflects our constant commitment to medical excellence and to continue the work of highlighting the medical talent of our country. At Top Doctors, we have managed to build the largest network of elite specialists in Spain, transforming and adapting the ecosystem so that access to quality medicine is accessible to everyone. For us, it is crucial to continue connecting patients with the best doctor or specialist for their specific case thanks to our network of more than 13,000 professionals. And that translates into a satisfaction index of 4.8 out of 5 given by real verified patients. Without a doubt, we are proud to say that these awards have become a benchmark in recognizing medical excellence in Spain," explains Lorena Bassas, co-founder and Country Manager Spain of Top Doctors.
The regional ranking of the Top Doctors Awards 2025 is: Barcelona (14), Madrid (10), Valencia (4), Sevilla (4), Cádiz (2), Málaga (2), Alicante (2), Zaragoza (2), and 10 provinces with one professional selected each.
