Mijas Reopens the Entrerríos Hostel with a Camp for Easter Week
The City Council will open the application period for 70 positions tomorrow, Thursday. Mijas begins the regeneration of beaches affected by the storms.
The Mijas Town Council has reopened the Entrerríos hostel after repairing the damage caused to the facilities by recent storms. It will host a camp during Easter for children with 70 spots available from March 30 to April 3, as reported this Wednesday by the council member, Melisa Ceballos.
The camp will be aimed at children aged between 4 and 14 years, whose spots can be requested starting tomorrow, Thursday, March 19, at 09:00 AM, as highlighted by the Mijas Town Hall in a statement.
Ceballos explained that in recent weeks, the Town Hall has been diligent in repairing all the damage caused by recent storms, which prevented the facility from opening during the White Week. Now, after completing the repairs, the hostel is in perfect condition for the enjoyment of the little ones.
Regarding the planned camp, she noted that it will be held under the name 'Guardians of the Earth'. The activities will be conducted in small groups, with clear objectives and an active methodology, emphasizing that "if the weather permits, most activities will take place outdoors, in nature."
Among the activities scheduled for Easter at the Entrerríos Hostel camp, Ceballos mentioned ecological trails, archery, cooking workshops, crafts and costumes, sports games, night entertainment, theater and mime workshop, and scavenger hunts.
The price for registered applicants will be 54 euros, and for non-registered applicants, it will be 108 euros. Spots can be requested in person at the Town Hall and at the Deputy Mayor's offices of La Cala and Las Lagunas or via electronic headquarters. There will be a total of 60 participants staying overnight and 10 in a day format, through the Inclusion program.
