Places are limited to 30 participants, allowing the coaches to provide closer guidance and adapt their advice to runners with different levels of experience.
Registration is available through the Torremolinos Despega municipal app. Users should select Activity registration, followed by Sports and Half Marathon Training.
Places will be allocated until each session reaches capacity.
Training on Sections of the Official Course
Sessions will take place at the Ciudad de Torremolinos municipal sports complex and on different sections of the Half Marathon course.
The precise meeting point may change depending on the aims of each workout. Registered participants will receive details from the Sports Department.
Using different parts of the route will help runners become familiar with the course and practise pacing, endurance, technique, hill management and race strategy.
Suitable for Different Running Levels
Participants do not need to be experienced long-distance runners.
The sessions are designed for different fitness levels, from runners preparing to complete their first 5K to athletes aiming to improve their Half Marathon performance.
Everyone taking part should be in suitable physical condition and follow the coaches’ instructions.
Runners are advised to bring appropriate footwear, sports clothing, water and reflective equipment when necessary. Any injury or health condition that could affect participation should be reported to the coaching team.
