Italy is coming to Torremolinos for two nights as August draws to a close. On Thursday 27 and Friday 28 August 2026, Plaza Paraíso will host the first edition of Little Italy Gastro Fest, a new event combining Italian food with evening entertainment on the Costa del Sol.

Each night will run from 7pm to 1am, starting with aperitivo and dinner before moving into live entertainment and a DJ set.

With tickets starting from €6, the festival is set to become one of the main food-and-leisure plans in Torremolinos during the final week of August.

A little slice of Italy for two nights

Little Italy Gastro Fest is designed as more than just a collection of food stalls.

The organisers aim to transform Plaza Paraíso, at Torremolinos Bullring, into a large Mediterranean meeting place inspired by the social side of Italian culture.

Food, music and themed spaces will shape the atmosphere throughout the evening, with the pace changing as the night progresses: first aperitivo and dinner, then entertainment, and finally dancing until 1am.

Fresh pasta, focaccia and pizza al taglio

Food will naturally be one of the main attractions.

La Barra de la Nonna will offer fresh pasta with different sauces, panini made with artisan focaccia, as well as Italian cheeses and cured meats.

Pizza will have its own dedicated area, served al taglio, or by the slice, with a selection of varieties available throughout the festival.

For dessert, Dolce Italia will feature classics such as homemade tiramisu, Sicilian cannoli and Italian-style ice cream.

The idea is for visitors to build their own dinner by moving between the different food areas.

Italian aperitivo gets its own space

Drinks will also play an important role.

El Aperitivo de Hugo will focus on classic Italian-style aperitivo culture, with options including Aperol Spritz, Campari and Italian vermouth, alongside other seasonal drinks and cocktails.

The concept reflects the wider spirit of the event: food is only the starting point, with conversation, drinks and music all forming part of the experience.

Live music, Pink Chadora and a DJ until 1am

Entertainment will take over as the evening develops.

Constanza Giacomelli will provide Italian-inspired music during dinner, while Pink Chadora will later bring a live show with dancers and extra entertainment.

The final part of each night will be led by a DJ set, continuing until the event closes at 1am.

This means Little Italy Gastro Fest can work both as a different dinner plan and as a full evening out in Torremolinos.

Two nights, two trips to Rome

One of the highlights of the first edition will take place beyond the festival itself.

A trip to Rome for two people will be given away each night.

That means there will be two separate prizes: one on Thursday 27 and another on Friday 28.

Admission includes one entry into that night’s draw, as well as access to the venue and entertainment programme.

How much are tickets?

Advance tickets currently start from €6 per person per day.

Once that allocation sells out, last-minute tickets will be available for €8.

There is also a two-day pass for €9, allowing access on both Thursday and Friday and one entry into the Rome prize draw on each night.

For visitors looking for a reserved area, a table for four costs €93.95, including fast-track entry, a location close to the stage and one drink per person.

Food and drinks inside the festival are paid for separately.

Children under 12 enter free

Little Italy Gastro Fest is also open to families.

Children aged 12 and under can enter free of charge.

Visitors under 16 must attend with a parent, legal guardian or responsible adult and provide the required authorisation. Those aged 16 and over may enter without an accompanying adult, although the relevant authorisation may still be requested.
