Dino Expo XXL arrives in Estepona with 120 life-size dinosaurs and a 5,000-square-metre exhibition
Estepona’s Exhibition and Congress Centre will host a family-friendly summer experience featuring animatronic dinosaurs, children’s activities and a special Ice Age area
Estepona will travel millions of years back in time this summer with the arrival of Dino Expo XXL, a major exhibition dedicated to the world of dinosaurs. The event will run from 27 June to 13 September 2026.
The exhibition will be installed at the Estepona Exhibition and Congress Centre, covering approximately 5,000 square metres. The entire venue will be air-conditioned, making it especially suitable for family visits during the hottest months on the Costa del Sol.
More than 120 dinosaurs that move, breathe and roar
The exhibition will feature around 120 life-size dinosaur replicas, many of them equipped with animatronic systems that allow them to move, make sounds and recreate the behaviour of prehistoric species.
The experience has been designed to be both visual and educational, making it suitable for visitors of all ages. Alongside the large-scale figures, information panels will explain the characteristics of the different species displayed throughout the route.
Some of the best-known dinosaurs in history will form part of a setting created to transport visitors to a world that disappeared millions of years ago.
A journey through the Ice Age
Admission will also include access to an area dedicated to the Giants of the Ice Age. This section will feature replicas of large prehistoric mammals such as woolly mammoths, cave bears, rhinoceroses and sabre-toothed tigers.
This additional space extends the experience beyond dinosaurs and gives visitors the opportunity to discover species that lived during other periods of prehistory.
According to the organisers, Dino Expo XXL has already visited more than 250 cities and welcomed over three million visitors during its international tour.
