DDCdanza – Daniel Doña presents Blanco, sólido, cristalino, a contemporary-rooted flamenco dance production included in the Danza Málaga 2026 programme.
The piece takes the form of a choreographic prayer reflecting on the present and how quickly it becomes the past. Through movement, Daniel Doña explores impermanence, decay and obsolescence in both the human body and art itself, presenting transformation and resilience as the only truly lasting elements.
Performers Daniel Doña and Cristian Martín bring together flamenco, Spanish dance and contemporary movement in a work that looks back at memory without nostalgia, using the past as material to transform the present.
