Seville-born flamenco dancer Juan Manuel Fernández Montoya ‘Farruquito’ comes to Teatro Cervantes in Málaga with Farruquito en concierto, part of the Danza Málaga 2026 programme.
The performance is built around the purest essence of flamenco, inviting audiences to stop thinking and simply feel the music. Dance, guitar, percussion and live singing come together in a spontaneous show rooted in tradition while celebrating the freedom and emotion at the heart of flamenco.
Farruquito is the grandson of legendary dancer Farruco and heir to one of flamenco’s most important artistic dynasties. A child prodigy, he made his Broadway debut at the age of four and later appeared in Carlos Saura’s film Flamenco. He has since developed an international career as a dancer, choreographer, artistic director and composer.
